Typical symptoms of sciatic nerve pain include:
- Constant pain on one side of the leg or buttocks area
- Pain that worsens when sitting
- Burning, tingling, or searing leg pain
- Numbness or weakness in the leg, foot, or toes
- Pain that radiates down the leg
You may also experience a sharp pain that makes it difficult to walk or stand up. The pain may be constant or intermittent.
