Meet the Team
I have been a part of the Cornerstone Chiropractic team since 2000. I am a billing specialist and X-ray technician certified by the state of Washington. I will do my best to make your financial relationship with our office as clear and efficient as possible. I love working with Dr. Lichfield, he understands the changing health care needs and the most current techniques and approaches to addressing health problems. I have a loving husband and four beautiful children, two boys and two girls. In my spare time I love to spend time with my friends and family and coach basketball.
I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia and moved to Seattle in 2010. I come from a very large family and I love to spend time with my adorable niece and nephew. My favorite thing about living in Seattle is the beautiful scenery and that there is always something exciting to do! I love exploring with my friends and my pug, Butters. I am excited to be with the Cornerstone Chiropractic team and I am so thankful that they have welcomed me with open arms! The comfortable environment as well as the focus on whole body wellness makes Cornerstone an amazing place to not only work but receive care. As an extremely family oriented person I love how Cornerstone embraces entire families as well as individuals.
My name is Gretchen Young and I am a Licensed Massage Practitioner. I have been doing massage for four years now and love every minute of it. I graduated from Everest College specializing in injury treatment and sports massage. I decided to go into this field after my pregnancy with my now 5 year old twin boys. My hips and back were always in pain and massage therapy was one of the only things that got me through it. I want to be a part of something like that. I wanted to have a career that was fulfilling and made a difference. I am so thankful that I have found that in Massage Therapy. I love knowing I help people in pain and make a difference in their daily lives.
I am a local Medical Massage Practitioner for over 14+ years. I graduated from Ashmead School of Massage and continued with an internship at the hospital where I helped in the maternity and post surgical ward to pursue my medical certification. I also worked at a Physical Therapy Clinic for Cascade Rehabilitation in Silverlake. This experience helped me get real life experiences related to strengthening and exercise. I believe communication and honesty are key to getting treatment goals met.
I have experience in spa treatments such as wraps, scrubs, hot stone, cupping techniques, aromatherapy as well as advanced techniques such as pregnancy massages, shoulder/neck and jaw dysfunctions, Piriformis syndromes, fibromyalgia condition therapy.
My hobbies include cooking anything gluten, soy and dairy free, exercising, gardening and enjoying our 3 dogs, 2 cats and multiple fish tanks. My all time favorite is playing soccer with my fiancé Bruch (pronounced Brook) and our ol’ buddies out at Kasche Park or Everett Indoor Soccer Arena. There is always great care and concern for my patients, you are always treated with respect, value and make sure you feel safe and comfortable.
